This is a scan of a magazine cover that I painted for "Alabama Living" magazine. The scene is of an old mill stream that I photographed near Opelika, Alabama last fall. This is the July 1996 issue of Alabama Living. The credit says "ON THE COVER.
Our cover features a watercolor by Cecilia Price of Opelika. "Old Mill Stream" depicts Halawaka Creek and Bean's Mill, a grist mill in Lee County off U.S. 29. The mill is currently being restored by a local couple.
